Objectives and tasks
Assists with setup
Cleans, washes, peels, cuts, and cooks vegetables/fruits
Prepares garnishes, cold sauces, soups, appetizers, desserts, salads, etc.
Cuts and cooks food
Assists the chef or section chef in the preparation and dispatch of dishes
Stores and cleans the kitchen as well as the workspaces
Ensures order and cleanliness within the kitchen
Adheres to safety standards while at work
Orders, receives, and inspects goods under the direction of the chef or section chef
