POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on and enthusiastic Sales Intern
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance of Sales reports and databases to have most-up-to date information available
• Produce accurate and timely reports (daily / weekly / monthly report) that meet the needs of the Director of Sales to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
• Collecting, analysing information of top accounts with the use of various channels in order to increase productivity of the sales team.
• Provide assistance for day to day administrative work of the Sales Department – Support the Sales Team during Events, Sales Calls, Sales Activities, Follow-up, Preparation of pre & post appointment, marketing tools etc.
• To deliver outstanding customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Develop key strategies to identify key customer needs.
• Maintain effective and appropriate liaison with clients whilst on property and establishing a good partnership with the meeting organiser, visible and noticeable to attendees.
• Give Administrative support activities such as completion of Business Review Meeting, MPSI, Calendar’s, sales mail/e-mails, telephone calls…
• To provide regular feedback to the Convention Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and other managers as appropriate on operational issues, standards and procedures.
• Working with the Convention Sales Manager and Banqueting & Conventions Manager to develop strategies to enhance customer service and core standards.
• Assisting the person in charge of the leisure market;
• Making sure that there are show rooms ready every day for site inspections
